Suzanne Cheong: A Year of Growth, Resilience, and Achievement

2024 has been a transformative year for Suzanne Cheong, filled with milestones, challenges, and triumphs that highlight her dedication and ambition.

In August 2024, Suzanne embarked on a new journey as she joined the Bachelor of Architecture program at NUS. Moving into Raffles Hall, she immersed herself in campus life, joining the Raffles Hall Dancing Group and participating in a meaningful donation drive. However, her first semester proved to be a demanding period. Balancing intense projects, team discussions, and critiques from tutors and professors, Suzanne faced moments of self-doubt. One such moment brought tears, but her resilience shone through. With her family’s encouragement, she embraced the critiques, transforming them into opportunities for growth.

Her interim project received high praise from professors, showcasing artistic excellence and innovation, needing only minor refinements. Suzanne’s perseverance paid off as her final presentation earned applause from both her cohort and teaching staff, a testament to her talent and hard work.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Suzanne expanded her entrepreneurial ventures. Her tattoo studio, Snowiepoke, continued to flourish with promotions in November 2024, garnering widespread acclaim from satisfied clients. Additionally, she launched an online business selling skin products via Aurora Blush ( https://aurorablush.myshopify.com)

Sophisticated design and user-friendly interface reflect her creative and entrepreneurial spirit.

Suzanne also attended the NAS Summit, diving into content creation and gaining valuable insights to support her ventures. Amidst her busy schedule, her family brought her comfort and joy. With her grandparents moving to Singapore, regular family gatherings have become a cherished tradition.

Looking ahead, Suzanne is eagerly preparing for her Korea trip from December 8th to 18th, marking a well-deserved break to recharge and explore.

Suzanne’s story is one of determination, adaptability, and boundless ambition. Whether through her architecture projects, tattoo art, or entrepreneurial pursuits, she continues to inspire those around her, proving that resilience and hard work can transform challenges into success.
